When my dad retired from his executive career, boredom set in fast. His cure? Trading his briefcase for an apron and perfecting his favorite Mediterranean-style preserved vegetables. Instead of slowing down in retirement, he’s been busy in the kitchen crafting this vibrant, crunchy, olive-oil-packed recipe to share with Ottawa!
What’s inside the jar? Only the best. We use a simple, clean mix of spicy pickled chilis, carrots, garlic, and salt, all preserved in pure extra virgin olive oil. Absolutely no preservatives or artificial flavors. (Note: Because we use pure, premium olive oil, it naturally solidifies in the fridge—just let your jar sit at room temp for a few minutes before eating!)
